Vic Mignogna <[email protected]>
I started to get into anime a few years ago (thanks to a friend) but it wasn't until netflix took off FMA/FMA:Brotherhood that I watched Ouran and noticed that Tamaki's voice was similar to Ed's voice, but not yet quite the same. After bringing it up to some friends, they told me that it was the same voice actor for both, Vic Mignogna. So I googled him , found his website, and was like, yo, Bible verse on your webpage? That's so cool! I was getting super excited. I talked to my friends again, the bible verse I found. They told me that he's a Christian and my mind was blown. That's when knew I had to meet him. My friends confirmed he was super cool, which only made me want to meet him even more. After I joined the Rangers, I saw the a video of him defending con goers from the protesters. I was shocked/amazed that a VOICE ACTOR would stoop to do that, when he could've very easily avoided it and continue on with his day. When I finally met Vic at RocCon 2018, I had been part of the Rangers since January, and was probably a nervous wreck. (Shout out to S***** and M***** for checking up on me on the day that he was to appear.) And meeting him was the BEST thing that ever happened. But this is how he has impacted my life. When I was in an accident (a few blocks from my house) 4 months before, I remember waking up the next day and realizing that I wasn't angry at the person who caused the accident. Even now with this whole kerfuffle I am sad at those who are doing wrong. His example of a kind, gentle spirit inspired me. Even though Vic isn't in the Rangers that often, he has impacted me by having this group.
