Hi Vic! I've been a big fan of yours for many many years. FMA was the first anime I ever watched, and you were the first voice actor I've ever met. Lots of firsts from you. You may not remember me, and that's okay. But you've had a huge impact in my life. I met you for the first time when I was 13 years old and that meeting was so short but it was everything to me. It was at Megacon in Orlando. The only reason I went to that convention was because I saw you were going there and I knew I had to go. At 13 years old, I was struggling. My family and I escaped a war and ended up in America. I had no friends, I missed home dearly, and school was generally difficult for me. I spent a lot of time locked up in my room because I felt like I had a huge hole in my heart. When I met you at megacon, you radiated positivity. It was hard for me to not smile just being near you. You were so happy to be there, so excited to meet all your fans. I asked you for a hug and a photo, and you happily gave me one. You were kind and caring, and at that moment for the first time I felt like I belonged somewhere. I know it's silly that something like that can make me feel that way, but it's TRUE. You are a WONDERFUL human being and I will stand with you through the end of time! Even now, many years later, you inspire me to keep pushing forward. So much so that I am now on a career path to becoming a trauma surgeon, and doing very well. You inspire me to stay above the bad and only focus on the positive. That things can happen and get you down but to not focus on them. Thank you so much for being such a huge part in my life, and thank you for allowing me to be a small part of yours. I've seen you many times since that day, and I cant wait to see you again. Stay strong, just like you taught me!
With all the love in my heart,
